NT's Premium Evolution, PMG series, auto-lock snap off blade knife comes with professional quality metallic pearl-black aluminum die-cast grip and 30 degree premium extra sharp black blade. Convenient snap off utility knife has an extra high quality black stainless steel sliding track which allows the blade to smoothly glide in and out. Extra tough grip is made of 100% post consumer recycled material and coated with electrical-acrylic metals for water resistance. With a special 4-layered coating; primer, metallic-coat, clear-black-coat, topped off with another layer of clear-coat, this metallic pearl-black grip gives a very stylish, sophisticated and stately look with its bold black sliding track and the black blade. Ratchet Auto-Lock slider will hold blade secure for maximum cutting efficiency. End cap also functions as a blade snapper. Designed for both right and left handed use with simple reversal of blade. Specialty blade used in this professional snap off knife is made of high quality carbon tool steel and produced through multiple stages of precise process to obtain the ultimate sharpness and optimum edge-retention. The process includes a unique “Bluing process” which adds an oxide coating on the blade and gives it a blue-black appearance and protects it from rusting. The final vigorous step is a sharpening process called “lapping”, which completes the cutting edge processing of these professional blades to achieve the maximum sharpness. Through these special procedures, NT created the flawless, rust-resistant precision blades that can effortlessly cut papers without tearing or dragging. Blades are so sharp that cutting lines are almost virtually invisible. Recommended for professional use, due to its fine delicate edge. Made in Japan.
