vintage sculpted fur coat

Black short sculpted fur with fur collar. This is from around the 1940's or 50's. I originally thought the the black was sculped velvet but found a tear under the arms which show the back side of fur skin. I have no idea of what kind of fur it is. It has 2 hook closures. The raglan cut sleeves can be cuffed up to 4". Side pockets. No label to indicate maker. The only label is the Label Authority Fur Consumer Protection FLA tag sew in the seam. No size tag but measurements are size M. It measures 23" L. Laying flat seam to seam it's 21" across under the arms, 22 1/2" at the hem. The lining is in excellent condition. No issues or repairs. The exterior has several issues, some repairable, some not. The fur collar has a couple of bear spots. The 3rd to last photo shows the largest. I was not really noticeable until a rub the fur in a different direction. The seams under the arms are torn. One looks like someone tried to repair, the other was not repaired (last 2 photos).
